An Anglo-Saxon Dictionary Based on the Manuscript Collection of Joseph Bosworth. Edited and enlarged by T.N. Toller. Oxford, 1882-1898.

Since 1898, Bosworth-Toller's Anglo-Saxon Dictionary has been the primary lexical reference for study of the Anglo-Saxon (Old English) language and stays as such up to the present day.

The dictionary is helpful if the words you are looking for are listed. I understand that to have a dictionary of every version of the old english language is not feasible but why list a word with a "see [such and such a word]" if the word you are trying to see is not listed?
