✦ Synopsis

The battle for the planet Callidus is over, and the battered human survivors finally head back to an unaware Earth for a long overdue rest. Zed Yates, former Captain of the starship Rose of the Dawn is now simply the Skipper of a small scout saucer heading to Earth to find his new wife, after which he plans to settle down and raise a family.

The universe, however, isn�t through with Zed as he finds himself in more hot water than he can possibly deal with. The ravening hordes of the insectoid Creednax are still on the move, and again the fate of the human race, this time including his pregnant wife, hangs in the balance as Zed and his stalwart crew face the teeming hordes of monsters in the homeworld of the Creednax, the Hiveworld.
