The treatment of osteogenesis imperfecta with magnesium is theoreticaly sound, but usually works in a few individuals. There are greater expectations with calcitonin, which reduces the overall osteolysis. The treatment of fractures should, whenever possible, be concervative. Internal fixation by pla
