A patient with tuberculosis of the greater trochanteric bursa is described, and the clinical and radiographic characteristics of the infection are reviewed. Despite the infrequency of skeletal tuberculosis, this infection should be considered in the differential diagnosis of chronic hip pain. ## Sk
