✦ Synopsis

The radial free space distribution function (RFSDF) has been defined and calculated for the hard-sphere fluid and solid. Fittings for the RFSDF of the hard-sphere fluid and solid are presented and analytical expressions for RFSDF are also presented. From the analysis of RFSDFs, the solid and fluid phase are clearly distinguished.

We present an algorithm for the symbolic computation of the pair-distribution function g(r) for arbitrary r-values of a one-component hard-sphere (HS) system within the Percus-Yevick approximation and of a hard-sphere Yukawa system within the mean-spherical approximation (MSA). The algorithm itself

A method for calculating the entropy and the chemical potential of fluids and solids from the radial free-space distribution function (RFSDF) is proposed. The free volume is obtained from the RFSDF by eliminating the arbitrary definition ofa cell and the imposition of a cut-off distance that were us

## Abstract The main objective of this work is to show the versatility of an innovative mesh‐free numerical scheme, which allows the solution of the coupled transport equations governing the evolution of a system of multi‐ion electrolytes, by mean of the use of radial basis functions interpolation
