β¦ Synopsis
A review is given of the applications of the present means of analytical computation by computer in high energy physics. The use of the computer and, in particular, of the programming systems, SCHOONSCHIP, ASHMEDAI and REDUCE-2 at each step of quantum-field-theory calculationsaccording to the Feynman diagram technique is discussed. The contribution of the computer in calculating the anomalous magnetic moment of the electron is considered in more detail.
