Abstract
A conformal mapping method and partial capacitance techniques are used to derive simple and accurate closed‐form expressions of odd‐ and even‐mode capacitances and characteristic impedances for a C‐shaped microshield broadside‐coupled coplanar waveguide (CMBCCPW) with buried ground strip. Numerical results are compared to those provided by other authors. Good agreement is obtained. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
