## Abstract In this paper, a number of photonic bandโ€gap (PBG) structures, which are formed by periodic circuit elements printed on transmissionโ€line circuits, are studied by using a wellโ€known numerical method, the finiteโ€difference timeโ€domain (FDTD) method. The results validate the bandโ€stop fil
