✦ Synopsis
Let (u n ) be a bounded sequence in H s, p (R d ) (0<s<d p). We show that (u n ) has a subsequence (u$ n ) such that each u$ n can be expressed as a finite sum (plus a remainder) of translationsÂdilations of functions , m and such that the remainder has arbitrary small norm in L q (1Âq=(1Âp)&(sÂd )). This generalizes a result obtained by Patrick Ge rard for the case p=2.

The Cauchy problem for the nonlinear Schro dinger equations is considered in the Sobolev space H nÂ2 (R n ) of critical order nÂ2, where the embedding into L (R n ) breaks down and any power behavior of interaction works as a subcritical nonlinearity. Under the interaction of exponential type the ex
The article is concerned with the Bourgain, Brezis and Mironescu theorem on the asymptotic behaviour of the norm of the Sobolev-type embedding operator: W s;p ! L pn=ðnÀspÞ as s " 1 and s " n=p: Their result is extended to all values of s 2 ð0; 1Þ and is supplied with an elementary proof. The relati

## Abstract Although a lack of critical perspective in environmental management has been acknowledged, the frequency of this perspective has not been measured. This was noted in the editorial of __Business Strategy and the Environment__ (__BSE__) 1998, where Richard Welford called for more critical
