Current-voltage characteristics for a CdS/Cu2S photovoltaic cell have been analysed by a least-squares technique in terms of a five parameter model. Experimental characteristics have been obtained over a wide range of incident light intensities and have been used to obtain the dependence of each of the five parameters of the cell on intensity of illumination. The physical meanings of the parameters and their variation with cell illumination are discussed.
