Experimental data on ground-and excited-state properties for all nuclei with mass number A=144 have been compiled and evaluated. States populated in radioactive decay as well as in nuclear reactions have been considered. For these nuclei, level and decay schemes have been built, as well as tables of

✦ Synopsis
We discuss the two-neutrino double beta decays of 46 Ca and 48 Ca by using the nuclear shell model with welltested two-body interactions. We also discuss the ordinary muon capture (OMC) reaction on the final nuclei, 46 Ti and 48 Ti, of these decays. The OMC leads to the intermediate virtual states of these double beta decays in the nuclei 46 Sc and 48 Sc.
