✦ Synopsis

By exciting NO1 with a narrow band, pulsed, dye laser in the region between 5934 and 5940 A, we have obtained a partial rotational analysis of a K = 0 sub-band of a *Bz -'A1 transition. In addition, we find evidence for a 28, + *AI transition in this region. By measuring the decay of resolved fluorescence features, we have determined the lifetimes of these two Sates. and find that they arc markedly different.
