CONCLUSION
For the analysis of coplanar strip discontinuities, a full-wave spectral domain approach which takes into account the radiation has been reported. The technique was applied to the coplanar strip open end. Good agreement is achieved between the reactance obtained by the presented method and those obtained by the FDTD and measurement available in the literature. The approach can be used for the treatment of other kinds of coplanar strip discontinuities such as short circuit and gap discontinuities.
