Abstract
In this paper, electromagnetic wave scattering is formulated in terms of the electric‐field integral equation (EFIE) for a dielectric body of general shape, inhomogeneity, and anisotropy. Applying the pulse‐function expansion and the point‐matching technique, the integral equation can be solved by the efficient Krylov subspace iterative fast Fourier transform (FFT) technique. Several typical Krylov subspace iterative FFT methods are used to solve the problems and their convergence behaviors are compared. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
