β¦ Synopsis
Numerical approximation of the coupled system of compressible miscible displacement problem in porous media is considered in this paper. A continuous in time discontinuous Galerkin scheme is developed. The symmetric interior penalty discontinuous Galerkin method is used to solve both the flow and transport equations. Upwind technique is used to treat the convection term in the transport equation. The hp-a priori error bounds are derived.
