✦ Synopsis
A method for e¨aluating the admittance of a radial-liner coaxial-line junction as seen from the coaxial line is presented. The method is based on the magnetic ¨ector potential, the TEM approximation in the coaxial line, and rotationally symmetric E-type modes in the radial line. The method is simpler and more straightforward than the Fourier transformation. When the radial line is terminated by arbitrary impedance, the admittance of the junction is obtained. The result is equi¨alent to that of Williamson.
