Fenthion is a colourless, oily liquid with a boiling point of 87 8C at 0.014 hPa, a molecular weight of 278.3 and a vapour pressure of 3.6 Γ 10 Β±6 hPa at 20 8C. Fenthion has a MAK value of 0.2 mg/m 3 (2001) Β± measured as the inhalable aerosol fraction. Because of the danger of absorption through the skin, fenthion has been marked with an ΒͺHΒΊ in the List of MAK and BAT Values [1].
