✦ Synopsis

This paper presents an experimental in¨estigation into a microstrip Yagi array antenna for a possible use in a wireless LAN system. The antenna uses an aperture coupling feeding mechanism, and can be placed in a horizontal plane to communicate with the base station. Experimental results are presented, and the effect of dimensions of the parasitic elements on the o¨erall performance of the array is discussed.
