The potential of demonstrating contact through transfer of glitter particles is discussed. It was established that these are produced in sufficient variety to provide useful evidence. Simple microscopic comparison of their shape, size, and construction will allow separation of many forms, but discri

β¦ Synopsis
Streaming potential of drying hardened cement paste is measured. It is shown that at high relative humidities liquid water is driven by capillary forces. At low relative humidities moisture transfer is due to vapour diffusion. By a steady water flow through a disc of hardened cement paste a streaming potential of about 0.5 V is built up. Several cells in series provide an unusual energy source.
