We have nothing but praise for this book; it is beautifully produced and the photomicrographs, many of which are in colour, are excellent.
The field of exfoliative cytology is an ever-expanding one and is of the utmost help in gynaecological diagnosis.
The authors give an extensive description of normal cells and cell patterns in different age-groups, a knowledge of which is essential for the understanding of abnormal smears; the scope of hormonal and cancer cytology is discussed in detail.
An excellent reference book on an important subject.
