## Abstract We investigated the mechanosensitivity of voltage‐gated K^+^ channel (VGPC) currents by using whole‐cell patch clamp recording in rat trigeminal ganglion (TG) neurons. On the basis of biophysical and pharmacological properties, two types of VGPC currents were isolated. One was transient
