This paper considers some problems concerning robotic welding of large structures. If spot welding is applied, then the task consists of fast motions between welding points, and at each point the end effector stops and maintains position for a short time. This note deals with a theoretical analysis of the dynamical behavior of a system made up of a plate with a two degree of freedom (2-dof) system elastically mounted. This study was performed by means of an analytical model based on Lagrange's multipliers. The results are verified with the values obt
