โฆ Synopsis
In this investigtion, new absorption bands have been observed in the optical spectrum of lithium doped nickel oxide. Interpretation of these bands in terms of intervalence interaction absorption places this system in class 2 or the Robin and DAY classification scheme of mixed valence systems.
