โฆ Synopsis
The three-dimensional stressed state in the neighbourhood of the tip of a plane semi-infinite crack located at the interface between two different kinds of transversely isotropie materials is investigated. Its exact analytic solution is constructed by reducing the problem to a Wiener-Hopf matrix equation, the singularity index of the elastic field is found and the stress intensity factors are determined.
