Burning velocity for quiscent dust-air mixture is equal to ratio of flame speed for turbulized and turbulization factor. It is suggested that turbulization factors for dust-air mixture and gas-air mixture are equal in identical gas-dynamic conditions. To evaluate turbulization factor the ratio of flame speeds for turbulized and quiscent 5% propane-butane-air mixtures is used.
Burning velocity U,, for lycopodium powder-air mixture when its concentration is 330 + 30 g/m 3 at ambient pressure and room temperature is 9 ± 2 cm/c. In conditions of the constant volume bomb the burning velocity in dust-air mixture decreases according power rule Un -pc where index e = -0.25 ± 0.05 when explosion pressure P increases.
