β¦ Synopsis
Numerous models have been proposed for concurrent objects, and their implementations in programming languages have been discussed. This paper presents an incremental model for object-oriented concurrency, starting out with a set of basic assumptions, which try to minimize user participation in designing concurrent systems. Greater demands for concurrency are met by incremental model modi cations, during design and execution. The model itself is object-oriented, and can be considered as part of a basic framework for concurrent object-oriented applications.
