โฆ Synopsis
A new version of a formerly proposed integral equation is presented. This new equation is valid, as is the previous one, for linear molecules interacting via a Kihara potential. It is used to obtain the average surface-surface correlation function of CO*.
The differences in calculated thermodynamic properties as compared with the former version are not great except for the virial pressure. The range of thermodynamic states for which the calculated equation of state gives good agreement with experiment extends into a region where most perturbation theories and integral equations yield poor results.

The eigenvalue problem for the Laplace operator is numerical investigated using the boundary integral equation (BIE) formulation. Three methods of discretization are given and illustrated with numerical examples.
An improved variation of the nodal integral method to solve partial differential equations has been developed and implemented. Rather than treating all of the nonlinear terms as the so-called pseudo-source terms (to be approximated), in this modified version of the nodal integral method, by approxim
