✦ Synopsis

This paper describes the integration of the various modules of an expert process planning system for rotational parts (EXCAP) with a complete product model generated by a CAD system (cv) and an intelligent machining and NC data generation package (TECHTURN). Tests on complex turned components obtained from an industrial collaborator are described.
