โฆ Synopsis
Measurements have been made of the interdiffusion coefficient in Zeo-karb 225,s % DVB, ion-exchange resin for the exchange of Hf and Na+ ions. By carrying out a series of 12 differential runs, the variation of the interdiffusion coefficient with resin composition has been determined. The results show good agreement with the Nernst-Planck model for diffusion in an ion-exchange resin.
