โฆ Synopsis
The package offers six kinds of wireframe primitives: cylinder; cube; cone; patch; sweep; sector; and two operators: copy; mirror. The user constructs machine parts interactively on the graphics terminal by keyboard commands, defines pivots and the interrelationships of relevant parts, joining them into a mechanism. After inputting the initial and final positions of the driving element and the value of increment step, successive views of the mechanism in motion are shown on the screen.
The whole package is written in Fortran-IV-Plus. It contains about 3000 lines of source code excluding comments. Using overlays, the program runs on the LSI-11/23 minicomputer. The graphic output is handled by GINO-F, which improves the portability of the package.
