✦ Synopsis
The experience of building a customized process-centred software development environment is described. This environment supports a team-oriented software process and performs automatic collecting of process data such as the number of defects per module and development time per phase per module. The underlying model for collecting the data is the personal software process. The environment has been built in a co-operative project with an industrial partner and will be used by this partner to improve their company-wide software development processes. We address the issue of how much available software process technology could be used and why certain technology could not be used.
