β¦ Synopsis
In this work we derive an existence and uniqueness result in the theory of bone remodeling. Specifically, we consider the model derived by Cowin and Hegedus, directly from continuum mechanics theory and use a fixed point argument in order to prove the existence of solutions. An adaptation of the Cowin and Nachlinger analysis leads also to a uniqueness result.
