## Abstract The stratosphere can strongly influence the interannual variability of tropospheric ozone. It has been discussed previously that tropospheric ozone can increase following an El Niño event, due to enhanced stratosphere/troposphere exchange (STE) of ozone. Here, we run a chemical‐transpor
