โฆ Synopsis
An upper bound to the lifetime of the H, chemically bound excited cluster has been computed employing a diatomic model which uses only the most important two-dimensional section of the potential energy surface. The computation was carried out by both an analytic and a numerical method giving a lifetime of the order of 10-I3 s.
