## Abstract In an earlier article, a Corresponding States Method was presented for predicting the saturated liquid densities of both pure components and mixtures. The method is based on the known saturated liquid densities of two reference fluids and requires the critical properties and acentric fa

✦ Synopsis
Ps) relationship (T is the temperature, Ps is the saturated density) for fluids is proposed and applied to existing data for equilibrium hydrogen. The expression is based on an earlier expression proposed by Goodwin but has some advantages over it. The consequences of the Widom-model on the rectilinear diameter are incorporated and the equation can be extrapolated to densities higher than the triple point density. The latter property makes it useful for incorporation in a universal state equation. The fact that the present equation is implicit is a drawback.
