✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Summary: A library of 148 cathodic electrodeposition paints was synthesized and the properties of related amperometric glucose biosensors were evaluated. For this a novel automatic electrochemical robotic system was designed. The automatic biosensor fabrication and characterization sequence involves the electrochemically induced precipitation of the cathodic paint on the electrode surface in the presence of glucose oxidase, the conditioning of the obtained polymer layer, the recording of a glucose calibration graph and the quantitative dissolution of the polymer film and cleaning of the electrode surface.
