A polymeric blend system of nylon 6 and a core-shell impact modifier was studied. The modifier had a poly(butyl acrylate) core and a poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) shell compatibilized with an epoxy resin, diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A (DGEBA). The compatibilization of DGEBA is achieved by the r

Abstract
Two etching techniques are used to reveal the morphology of PC/PBA‐cs‐PMMA blend. One is based on acetic acid (CH~3~COOH) solutions, whereas the other uses CCl~4~/C~2~H~5~OH (3/1 v/v). The latter approach shows to be more appropriate and successful for revealing the morphology of PC/PBA‐cs‐PMMA blend.
