A class of aggregation operators that includes Yager's OWA operators is introduced. Both classes are completely characterized by means of their functional and analytic properties. The results are discussed from the point of view of representational measurement theory.

## Abstract The behavior of ionโ€exchange chromatography is well understood with respect to changes in ionic strength, pH, resin ligand density, bed height, elution flow rate, and gradient slope. Their relative importance for any specific chromatographic situation varies. When a chromatographic oper

A novel class of amphoteric, polymeric buffers, is described, consisting of grafting onto growing polyacrylamide chains weakly acidic and basic acrylamido-monomers (called Immobilines; protolytic groups as N-substituents on the nitrogen of the amido bond), for operating a membrane-immobilized enzyme

We consider the Riemann map g ฮถ,w of the complex unit disk to the plane domain I[ฮถ] enclosed by the Jordan curve ฮถ and normalized by the conditions g ฮถ,w (0) = w, g ฮถ,w (0) > 0, where w is a point of I[ฮถ], and we present a nonlinear singular integral equation approach to prove that the nonlinear ope
