Using the concentrlc spheres free surface model and a standard 4th polynomral

Karman-Pohlansen method the dlmenslonless tangential stress dlstnbutlon,and the dlmensionless pressure dlstrlbutlon around a sohd sphere m a swarm, and the VISCOUS, form and total drag coefficient for multr-sohd particle systems were computed numerically at higher Reynolds numbers The void function obtamed from the drag coefficlent for multlpartlcle system was comparative to the expenmental data The in&on factor for multi-particle systems so computed agreed with the expenmental data of packed and distended beds
