β¦ Synopsis
An analytical solution relating the film mass flow rate to the film thickness and other flow parameters has been developed for the general case of gas-liquid two-phase annular flow. The solution, based on a modified Dukler theory, holds in the range near the wall (yr+ < 50), and is in good agreement with previously published computer solutions based on the Dukler theory. The theory is compared with limited experimental data from the literature.
