โฆ Synopsis
A technique for measuring ac losses in superconducting magnets is described. Two signals, a compensated voltage integral across the magnet and a magnet current differential, are multiplied in a Hall probe multiplier. The result is integrated and digitally displayed. The loss per cycle in a range of 0.1 -ld Js-' is measured by an electronic joulemeter based on this technique.
