An accurate numerical visualization for streamlines of ยฏuid ยฏows is a fundamental tool in computational ยฏuid dynamics. However, the standard ยฎnite element formulation to compute streamlines suers from the disadvantage of requiring the determination of boundary integrals. This shortcoming requires th
## Abstract A heuristic solution procedure for set covering is presented that works well for large, relatively dense problems. In addition, a confidence interval is established about the unknown global optimum. Results are presented for 30 large randomly generated problems.
Earlier formulations of the finite element approach to cylindrical ( r z ) field problems led initially to variational expressions containing a simple term in l / r and consequent attempts to remove it by appropriate choice of interpolation functions. The present paper uses new interpolation functio
