✦ Synopsis

An algorithm for the approximate determination of boundary controls in controhability problems for the wave equation is presented. The algorithm and its variants apply in any number of space dimensions. Furthermore, the algorithm can be used in connection with more general controllability problems involving hyperbolic partial differential equations.
