## Abstract The crystal structure of melaminium orthophosphate (MP) has been determined from highβresolution synchrotron powderβdiffraction data. The crystal packing consists of melaminium layers and pairs of orthophosphate chains connected by Hβbonds almost perpendicular to the layers. The distanc
