Amorphous CoSnO 3 @C nanoboxes have been synthesized by thermal annealing of CoSn(OH) 6 nanoboxes, followed by carbon nanocoating. Benifiting from the unique structure, they exhibit exceptional long-term cycling stability over 400 cycles for highly reversible lithium storage.
