✦ Synopsis
We use the word "love" as though we were intimately acquainted with its definition. After all, we all love many people as well as many other things. We love our parents, family, friends, pets, cars and, those truly lucky among us, our professions and jobs. But who among us can clearly define what constitutes true love with its most powerful, transformative ability for those lucky enough to encounter it? Who can say with certainty that they will love for a lifetime with the same intensity of a new love and maintain that same intensity? This short story focuses with humor on a theme of vital importance in both fiction and in life: the transcendental power of true love that can literally change our lives forever in an instant, wherever and however we come to find it.
