Experimental

Colourless crystals of [(I).NH 4 ]PF 6 suitable for X-ray analysis were grown by slow evaporation from a CD 3 COCD 3 solution of ammonium hexa¯uorophosphate (1.6 mg, 9.82 mmol) and dibenzo-24crown-8 (4.2 mg, 9.36 mmol).

The crystal structure of the title compound, C~30~H~34~N~2~O~6~, is stabilized by C—H...O interactions. The C—H...O interactions result in the formation of a centrosymmetric dimer and a chain of glide-related molecules.
