✦ Synopsis
Abstract
Amide proton transfer (APT) imaging results in a representative human volunteer. a: B~0~ map calculated from the low SNR z‐spectrum images by the B~0~ correction algorithm. b: MTR~asym~ map and c: MTR~SAFARI~ map calculated from the high SNR APT images without B~0~ correction. The uncorrected MTR~asym~ map shows large spatial intensity variation over the brain, which corresponds to the water frequency shift map. The uncorrected MTR~SAFARI~ map shows a remarkable improvement in homogeneity over the brain. From the article by Scheidegger et al (pp 1275‐1285).
