✦ Synopsis

The alliance will provide maintenance services to South East Water's supply network, which covers an area of around 3640 km 2 . The service region includes 8000 km of water mains, over 7000 km of sewer mains, 237 sewage pumping stations, 78 water pumping stations, 66 water storage facilities, and nine sewage treatment plants.

Together with external revenue, the alliance's total net sales for civil, electrical/ mechanical service and construction are projected to be A$500+ million for the term of agreement. The alliance will run for the next seven years, with a performance-linked option for a further five years, and plans to deliver organisational efficiencies and cost savings in construction, operations and maintenance -ultimately leading to reduced overheads and improved services, according to reports.
