✦ Synopsis

The concept of isospectral polyene molecules is briefly reviewed and commented on. Several pairs of almost-isospectral molecules and two infinite pairs of almost-isospectral series of molecules are identified for the first time. This work represents a contribution toward the study of the relationship of quantum chemistry and similarity.
